Quick Thoughts: Crazy, Stupid, Love

Would you prefer the theatrical poster for the movie? Didn't think so

I just went to see Steve Carrell's latest comedy, Crazy, Stupid, Love, which was something I had wanted to do, ever since I saw the trailer with Julian Moore taking shots at the Twilight series and had me laughing out loud.

In this post I'll give you some thoughts I had about the movie.

  • Can Emma Stone get any hotter?!? I mean she has it all and that killer personality will definitely make her the next big Hollywood superstar. I would so love to fuck her.
  • My friend, whom I went with, told me that Analeigh Tipton wasn't pretty at all. Of course I disagreed saying that --besides being really cute--she must give fantastic head. I just looked her up and apparently she finished 3rd in America's Next Top Model and you know those models are down to do anything.
  • With such an All-Star cast, this movie couldn't flop. And it didn't. But it didn't quite reach my expectations.
  • The only message I got from the movie, is that I better get ripped like Ryan Gossleing cause I know that's how he gets his bitches in real-life. Well, that and the fact he's a movie star.
  • The ending was great, but I left the cinema feeling like the movie was almost impossible to happen in real life.
  • I can see me renting this movie in the future, but the awful chemistry between the actors (except for Carrell and Gossleing's) prevents me from loving this movie.

Add To Your Playlist: Curren$y - Pininfarina

There's no doubt in my mind that New Orleans native Curren$y is the hardest working rapper on the game right now, the year isn't even that close to ending and Spitta is already on his fourth full-length project in 2011.

For his latest mixtape Verde Terrace, hip-hop's favorite smoker jacks the MMG beat for Pandemonium and makes it his own with dope ass lyrics and his usual topics; weeds, money and cars.

Overall the 'tape was very smooth and worth a listen, but Pininfarina takes the gold as the best track on it.

With Spitta making so many headlines this year, haters have risen and started protesting about his lack of depth, but to that I respond with the fact that no one brags better than him and why change your lane if you have a dedicated fan base. Plus he has shown on Pilot Talk II that he is able to talk about other topics, he just prefers to rap about what he likes the most.

So instead of hating on the dude constantly grinding, sit back and enjoy the ride while you listen to his outstanding flow.

NBA 2K12 First Look

With every leak of info the Visual Concept team has been releasing, I'm getting more excited to go cop NBA 2K12. Last year's game was almost perfection with revamped and all-new features that enhanced the gamers experience.

Now with the latest trailer by 2K, we can be pretty sure this year's game will reach it's expectations, with appearances by All-Stars from every generation.

Yo Tim, Maybe Next Year; Quick Thoughts On Tim Tebow's

So on Saturday everybody finally realized that, you know, maybe Tim Tebow isn't really ready for the NFL.

The Denver Broncos faced the Buffalo Bills in the second week of preseason and Tebow fell behind on the team's QB race to the third spot after a good performance by Kyle Orton and a solid set of snaps by Brady Quinn, Tim had what was leftover and wasn't able to do any that can stand-out.

Everybody wants him to suceed, he's the role-model people want their kids to look up to because of his blue-collar atittude and his work off the field. That's why we had hope that his abilities as a QB would be enough for him to start in the National Football League.

But truth is, the dude has trouble making his reads and his throwing mechanics still needs some work. You know you have long road ahead of you when your coaches give Brady Quinn the nod ahead of you.

I see him having some time on the field on special red-zone packages, but unless Denver has an awful season don't expect to see much of #15.

My Review of 30 Minutes Or Less

So yeah, I've been blogging for almost two years now (I think) and I must say that it is one of the few things I'm truly passionate about. I love how I can share my opinion on the web and have people that are interested in the same things as me, discuss and talk about them.

But over my time in the blogsphere I've never really owned a site where I would post my thoughts on everything that surrounded me, rather I've spent my time talking about one subject in particular, first it was my opinion on football, then basketball and later on I started writing about Hip-Hop.

Well, with Mind Runoff, I intend to talk about all that, plus shit that happens on around in my life. Definitely sounds like some boss shit. I know.

With my first post, I'll review 30 Minutes or Less hopefully you'll enjoy it and come back for more.

The movie's main plot --I don't want to ruin your experience so I won't get into full details--is about a pizza delivery-guy (Jesse Eisenberg) who is kidnapped by two crazy motherfuckers (Danny McBride & Nick Swardson) that strap a bomb on him and force him to rob a bank, which he does with help of his best friend (Aziz Ansari).

I came into the theater with great expectations, since Eisenberg and director Ruben Fleischer created a great movie in Zombieland, but sadly they weren't met. Although they had a superb cast, a lot of the jokes failed to make me laugh and I didn't really care about the characters since the barely made you feel like they could exist in real life.

Another issue I had with the film, was that they they tried to fit as many sub-plots as possible without giving the proper depth to all of them. Making you to not really care about what would happen next.

With that being said, I did enjoy watching the movie --thanks primarly to Jay-Z and Kanye West's new BFF, Aziz--and would go see it again in the right situation.

Rating: 6 out of 10

It had it's moments, nevertheless, the lack of priority on the main plot makes this movie unable to reach it's potential and makes this a fail attempt by everyone in it.
